Bio
I've studied the craft of writing since 2011, taking online classes through UW-Madison's Continuing Studies Writing Program. I grew up and live in the Midwest. A deep dive into the burning, bright center of my experiences and observations informs my writing. In 2026 I published my first book of poetry entitled "Chronicles of Grief, Love, and Longing...Navigating My Boat Afloat on a Sea of Grief". I've shared my poems at open mic nights in Green Bay, WI and Appleton, WI. I also post other poems on Grief and Longing through Substack. On August 12, 2026 I will be the featured poet at Creating Space Healing Arts Community Healing Mic Night in Green Bay. I've completed a fiction manuscript (in edit mode), a draft proposal for a creative non-fiction memoir, and a plethora of multiple format poetry.
I won 2nd place for my genre fiction entry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s 2020 Writers’ Institute Page & Poem Contest.
