Bio
I am the author of Intermission, a novel to be released July, 2023 by Kensington Publishing. I have also written two novels, Forty Acres and Down Home Blues, which was selected by the Texas Library Association for the 2017 Lariat Adult Fiction Reading List, short list. In addition, I co-authored the novelty book, Let the Brother Go If... I am a contributor to a book review column in the New Tri-State Defender and to Chicken Soup for the African American Woman’s Soul.

On the personal side, I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and currently reside in Memphis, Tennessee. I also lived in Houston, Texas and owned a bookstore there. When not reading or writing, I enjoy football, classic movies and chocolate.
