Bio
Sara Biren believes that all you need is love, music, good cheese, and a strong cup of coffee. The author of adult and young adult contemporary romance, she lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two kids, and two Schnoodles. If she's not watching hockey or football, you'll probably find her hiking the Ice Age Trail.
Sara is the author of I SAW YOU FIRST, a 90s retail rom-com (September 10, 2026) and has has published three YA novels with Amulet Books: THE LAST THING YOU SAID (a finalist for the Minnesota Book Award in Young Adult Literature), COLD DAY IN THE SUN (a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection), and BEND IN THE ROAD.
In addition to WWA, Sara is a member of Chicago-North Romance Writers and has partnered with Uncorked Book Lounge in Two Rivers, WI, to host a monthly writers' group, Friday Night Writes.
