Bio
Marie Zhuikov is a fiction writer, poet, and blogger who also works as a senior science communicator for the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant Program. Her short stories and poems have appeared in several anthologies and community projects. She connects to nature through water and animals, which provide themes for her writing. Her blog-memoir, “Meander North,” (Nodin Press) earned a 2023 Midwest Book Award for nature writing. In 2025, her short story collection, “The Path of Totality,” will be published by Cornerstone Press.
