We're excited to welcome award winning screen writer John Roach on June 2nd. John will speak candidly on what made him want to be a writer and the process he employs. John will also take questions on screen writing, so come prepared with everything you want to know.

About John Roach:

John Roach Co-wrote the David Lynch film "The Straight Story." The film was nominated for Independent Spirit Award and Best First Screenplay as well as lead actor Richard Farnsworth receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. John has won seven Chicago Emmy Awards and has been a Madison Magazine columnist for 30 years.
