Gather with writers from across Wisconsin and beyond to experience the state's stunning Northland lakes, forests, history, and culture to see how they can inspire your craft. Learn from an exceptional line up of seventeen award-winning, diverse presenters and panelists in a Northern Wisconsin setting that is beyond compare for beauty and creative spirit.

The last day to register in person and pay is September 20th. 

The last day to register for the virtual event and pay is September 27th. 


Registration fees include all meals and access to all speakers and workshops. Lodging is not included.

ALERTRooms at Barker's Island Inn and Hampton Inn are sold out. Please note these options in proximity of the conference where lodging may still be available: Holiday Inn Express, Superior, and Cobblestone Hotel and Suites, Superior. Attendees may also wish to explore the Air B & B option.

A block of rooms has been reserved at Barker's Island Inn and Conference Center at the reduced rate of $199 for conferences attendees. 

To get this discount, call Barkers Island directly at 715-392-7152 and tell them you are with the WWA Fall Conference. There is a limited number of rooms at this price, and the offer expires September 1, 2022

Due to the conference being held at the peak of the beautiful fall colors, rooms will sell out quickly. Make your room reservations today!
