    The Healing Power of Words

Author G. Anthony draws from the trauma of his upbringing to explore the depths of his identity and begin healing. His journey is reflected in his work. Nobody’s Words, which started as a challenge Anthony set for himself to write 500 words a day for 90 days, is a collection of poems that reflects on the past and the present. He examines his self-perception, shaped by what others—including his abusive mother—told him. Over time, he challenges those assumptions and decides for himself who he truly is and who he wants to be for the people he loves.

While not strictly a self-help book, Nobody’s Words resonates with readers, making them feel seen and understood when he writes, “The difference within each of us—the potential to grow beyond what we were built for—is an innate and ever-expanding phenomenon, passed as a gift to every generation.” His repeated emphasis on the power of mindfulness highlights both its benefits and how easily it can be overlooked in the busyness of life. Nobody’s Words is an accessible read that can be returned to time and again.
